The good:

getting on the sled before summer
learning how to do things I didn’t think I could do
finally priming and painting the cabin (and caulking and sanding and spackling…)
sun, sun, sun
going down a huge, steep gully on the sled that I said I NEVER ever wanted to go down….my boss just said, “This next part is [...]

pounds of  dog chow.  Each bag is 37.5 pounds, and I managed to fit 50 bags in by big truck. I love my truck. Now that it’s behaving and is all fixed.

Dorky title, I know. But here is the good:

finally sort of figured out dog harnesses.  I got 3 on wiggly, hyper dogs today. Although, those were the 3 easy dogs out of the group
met some nice people already who might help me get another job–helping run an office that does day flights to see bears! [...]

My trip has been fully saturated with bad. If you haven’t yet heard the stories, I’m sure at some point I will tell them to you. Here is a short list:

had to leave Indiana and my family and friends (okay, that’s a given)
the car I wanted to buy died in the seller’s driveway….after the cab [...]
